Barnard faculty members are tasked with educating the bright young minds that pass through the College’s gates. They also remain routinely engaged in their own research, pushing forward the boundaries of their respective fields.
Below are some of the most recent accomplishments:
Gergely Baics received a grant from the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation for phase 2 of the project Mapping Historical New York. Mapping Historical New York is an ongoing collaborative project with Columbia’s History Department and the Columbia Center for Spatial Research in the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP).
Sandra Goldmark and Leslie Raucher in the Office of Sustainability & Climate Action received a grant from the Morningside Area Alliance for the Circular Community Initiative, a plan to expand Barnard’s Circular Campus program beyond our gates.
