On February 17, 2022, Anne Lake Prescott, Senior Scholar and Emerita Helen Goodhart Altschul Professor of English, was announced as the recipient of the 2022 Paul Oskar Kristeller Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Renaissance Society of America (RSA). This prestigious recognition is awarded annually to the scholar who best demonstrates uncompromising and lifelong devotion to the highest standards of scholarship and exceptional achievement in Renaissance studies. To be eligible for the award, a recipient must be a senior scholar of the highest distinction with emeritus status or equivalent, have actively mentored others in the field, and be a current or former member of the RSA.
