Dear Students,
We write this email in recognition of both the excitement as the semester comes to a close as well as the sadness and losses that we have experienced as a community recently on the Columbia campus, nationally, and globally. The mental health and well-being of you, our students, is of the utmost importance to the administration, staff, and faculty at Barnard. We care about you and we want to be sure that you have what you need to be able to move through these next few weeks with support. In the coming weeks, we will provide the opportunity for you to come together in a variety of settings to do this. We have chosen these venues in response to what we have been hearing from the student community and in our experience with students. As always, we welcome further input regarding how we can support you.
