Pre-Baccalaureate Program FAQs
Pre-Baccalaureate Program FAQs
General
The Pre-Baccalaureate Program is our only credit bearing option offered this summer for high school students. For seven weeks, students will take a Barnard course alongside undergraduate students, taught by Barnard faculty. The credits earned can be transferred to Barnard or any other college that accepts transfer credits.
Once admitted, students will have the opportunity to select courses from a list of available options during the enrollment process.
Class size can range from 10 - 25 students.
Each course listed in this program is worth 3 college credits.
These credits are transferable to any college or university that accepts credit transfers and can also be applied toward your degree if you choose to attend Barnard in the future.
At this time, international students are not eligible to apply for the Pre-Baccalaureate Program due to visa requirements.
