In November 2020, as part of TAPAS 2020: Proceedings of the 11th ACM SIGPLAN International Workshop on Tools for Automatic Program Analysis, assistant professor of computer science Mark Santolucito published a co-authored paper titled, "Towards Checkpoint Placement for Dynamic Memory Allocation in Intermittent Computing." The paper explores new domains of computing, the complex challenges that come with checkpointing intermittent computing, and proposes key aspects of solutions to these challenges.
