Mail Services Location
Mail Services and Receiving are located in the Diana Center, Lower Level, Room 103.
Mail Services Window Hours of Operation
Please note the following hours of operation will be in effect during Winter Break:
Monday, December 23: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday-Friday, December 26-27: 9 a.m - 1:30 p.m.
Monday, December: 30: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Thursday-Friday, January 2-3: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
As of January 6, resume normal hours:
Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
All mail and packages received will be held during Winter Break.
Keep in Mind the Following
- Mail Services is closed Saturdays, Sundays, and College holidays unless otherwise noted.
- Perishable items sent to Mail Services may be delivered using the student's regular mailing address. To ensure timely delivery, please give the Mail Services team advance notice. Simply email mailservices@barnard.edu the student's name and contact number, item description, carrier, tracking number (if available), and expected delivery date.
- Deliveries are not permitted to the dorms with the exception of flowers to the Front Desk (students will need to know to pick up the flowers).
- Direct food and grocery deliveries are not accepted at Mail Services.

Package Return Policy
With limited space available, mail and packages are kept for up to four (4) business days then will be returned to sender. Due to storage limitations, mail and packages cannot be held any longer than prescribed.

Window service is provided Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:45 PM.
Personal Packages can be retrieved from Central Receiving, Monday through Friday, 9:30am - 10:00am and 4:00pm to 4:30pm.
Package Lockers
The Package Lockers provide a convenient and easy to use package retrieval system that will complement current window pickup in Mail Services.
Packages available for pickup at the Mail Services Window will arrive from mailservices@barnard.sclintramail.com. This is your indication that the package has been processed and is ready for pickup.
Packages available for pickup from one of the locker banks will arrive from
"Barnard College Mail Services <no-reply@pb.com>". This email will contain instructions for retrieving your package.
Please wait for an email notification from mailservices@barnard.sclintramail.com or no-reply@pb.com (do not rely on carrier notifications).
You will receive an email notification with instructions on how to pick up your package from one of the locker banks. Here is a quick user guide:
- Receive Email Notification.
- Go to the specific Locker Bank location according to email instructions.
- At the locker, open the email message and scan the barcode from your phone at the reader. Alternatively, you can use a digit PIN code to open the locker. Select the "Enter manually" button and then enter the code provided on the next screen.
- Your picture will be taken, then sign the screen.
- A locker door will open–simply retrieve the package and make sure to close the locker door. (Be mindful of the locker door opening suddenly!)

Packages may be retrieved anytime the building is open.
The package will stay in the locker(s) for forty-eight (48) hours.
Packages will be returned to the Mail Services for processing and pick up at the Mail Services Window. You will receive an email notification when the package is ready for pick up and then you have four (4) business days to retrieve your package before it is returned to the sender.
Please see your notification email to know where each package is located. Though we have developed steps to cut down on this, it is still possible to have packages in different locations.
